Two thumbs down Hotel is going living off past reputation as “once was” a fabulous hotel in movies. Rooms were way out dated and over priced for what you get. Made my 8 month pregnant wife carry her own bags to room. Which I might add is really far away due to construction detour that makes you walk all the way around the hotel. Wow!!! Woke up to tractors every morning cause of construction. Came all the way from Oklahoma to be let down by this. Bummer!!!!

Property was under construction property should’ve been close down while under constructionThere was a mess everywhere.My view to the beach was a big pile of garbage and a tractor is my view.And the machines would start at 7 AM and stop at 4 PM the hotel would shake very badly while under construction.

I've always wanted to stay at the Hotel Del ever since I first visited San Diego. It was my dream come true when my girlfriend and I had the chance to travel to San Diego during a cross country trip we've been planning for a year. It really was amazing. Construction Zone We were not warned about any construction prior to booking. We had a room with “Ocean View” turns out that ocean view meant we had heavy equipment at 7:00 A.M every morning on both sides of our room. I have stayed at Hotel del Coronado previously and was looking forward to my Wife’s first stay. We have stayed at the Del before and loved it. This trip was different... we were in the towers but didn’t know about major construction goin on between the towers and main building. Construction started at 6am, made it very hard to get to the pool, main building, restaurants, etc. the hotel checked us out a day early then didn’t offer to meet us at our room for the new keys so had to truck it back up, around construction to main bldg for new keys. 객실 전면 통유리 클리닝이 전혀안되어있는 호텔 하루 70만원에 달하는 호텔의 전면 유리창문 청소상태가 최악 이었음 안 닦은지 6개월은 족히 되보임. 안으로 밖으로 전혀 닦은 흔적이 없음. 뒤늦게 상태확인하여서 어필도 못함 콜로라도 2박중 1박을 큰맘 먹고 선택한 호텔인데 100년 넘은 역사와 전통 빼고는 기본도 안되있는 호텔임.

Staff was extremely rude. Way overpriced for what you get. They wouldn’t even give my pregnant wife a piece of toast without charging us $12
