A beautiful overnight getaway! But…. Having the military running there jets and helicopters all day and through the evening was very disturbing. So loud.. you could hardly continue conversation when there was a fly by. It was cool at first but after the 3rd hour.. not so much. Not sure there’s much you can do about that, but just… heads up!!

It was wonderful spendiing time with my daughter at Hotel Del Coronado.
Staying at a National Historical Monument was amazing with all the history and unique setting. No two rooms alike in the Victorian section. Very pricey, but worth the stay for special occasion.... Or no occasion at all! The Beach and Coronado town are easily accessible! Leave your car parked and enjoy every minute!
Huge and historic, lots of picture opportunities. Main parking is far from the “view” hotel, about 5-10 minute walk, while taking your luggage. Otherwise, I’m satisfied the restaurants, shops and modern look of the room.

Such a fun, old hotel to stay in. Perfect location right on the beach and walkable to restaurants and shops!

I cannot say enough good about this place - everything was wonderful! Food, drinks, staff, views, beach, shopping … definitely one of the best!
The newly renovated Hotel Del is spectacular! And I can’t recommend Serea, the seafood restaurant, highly enough.
