Hotel Del is a beautiful, historic property ideally located on a world-famous beach. The building is architecturally unique and impeccably maintained; staying there is like stepping into the 1890s. On the downside, it's astronomically expensive. Not only are the room rates high, literally everything costs extra. A LOT EXTRA. The restaurants, in particular, are overpriced and not very good. It was a great experience and history behind the place is great. Overall very nice facility but also it is very pricey so for those of you who don’t want to spend eight dollars for a regular size soda. This may not be the place for you. Otherwise, if you don’t mind and are able to afford it, it’s a great place!!!! We will be back.

The main Victorian building has been set to be renovated so they have deferred a LOT of maintenance. It's run down, crumbling, and not worth what they charge for it. Best to stay in The Views or another building and then look at the main building. We asked to be moved and our request was honored.

The property is gorgeous with beautiful views on the beach front. We got a complimentary upgrade to the most gorgeous room at The Views with access to the beach right in front of our room. We would definitely come back.
