As far as the hotel, staff and service .. everything was almost perfect (especially the historic imperfections) but, with all the construction noise going on (and the naval air base next door) it was distracting and hard to hear the ocean.

Very nice we had a great time, we enjoy the beach!
Beautiful hotel Everything was wonderful. The room and view were fantastic and the food was delicious . The construction and lack of amenities was a bit of a bummer but other than that it was fantastic trip.
The property is very pretty. It is right on the ocean with a gorgeous beach. The problem is that the staff is sparse and "extras" don't exist. Most of the dining is closed. They have recently closed for construction, but when they opened a few weeks ago they still have massive construction to do. There is absolutely no information on what to do or what you can do in the area. You are totally on your own. The spa is great, but you have to figure out how to make reservations.

We stayed in an ocean view victorian room and absolutely loved it! This is an older property, but that is why the Hotel del is so amazing: the history, the architecture and what a view! Other than the construction going on, which is loud and much of the hotel was blocked off, I really have nothing negative to say. Very pleased.
