I had to transfer rooms today due to a pipe break and move to a new section of the facility. It is wha it is but I'm definitely going to miss Luz, Carlos, Bong, Matthew, Angelikka - treatment nurse and always cute, Omar, Adriana, Carlos, Katherine and of course Mike (he always steps up even when I'm not in his station). Can never forget Wendy and Andrew but they work in all station.
After a rough start the facility was able to improve to my satisfaction. The nursing staff is very good. Shoot out to Andrea. The PT and OT staff does an excellent job. Food was adequate, but was served cold some days.
Huntington Valley Healthcare does a great job at attending to our clients needs. The staff is very caring and focused on quality care. All of our clients are satisfied with the care they receive there. It is always a pleasant interaction working with them. I love their facility and how they interact with their residents. All the residents seem to have fun activities to do. They are well engaged mentally and their cognitive function is well looked after.
My husband is receiving wonderful care from all the nurses, CNA's and administrative staff. I'm very thankful for their service and dedication.
Huntington Valley is a 7 star facility. Great nursing team, administrative teams and all around great care. Couldn't be happier with my decision to send my grandfather there after his hip replacement. Would recommend them to anyone looking for care post hospitalization.
I was not sure of what to expect at this facility. I was transported and was surprised to be one of the patients staying there. I can say a lot of activity throughout the day and some night action to keep you alarmed. I can say after a few days of rehab .
Overall was very happy with the care my grandfather received there. Would highly recommend!
They are caring, attentive and dedicated at HVHC. Ivy and all the nurses were compassionate and made us feel comfortable with all the concerns our family had. Admin is knowledgeable and took care of everything else in between. We are forever grateful!
I give this 4 stars, not 5, only because I wasn't the patient. My father spent 3 months at HVHC. I am comparing this to a previous 3 month stay at Newport Nursing in NB. If you ask him, it was all meh, but nobody really wants to be at a SNF. From a family management perspective, I appreciate HVHC and the services they provided to my father.
