Staff their was rude with my wife and for that we will never return to the place. Use Community Pet Hospital their prices cost a little bit more but customer service is worth it 12311 Washington Street, Thornton, CO 80241 (303) 451-1333

DON'T GO THERE! We took our 16 year old Shitzu to be put to sleep, due to his failing health. They didn't sedate prior to injecting the euthanasia shot, and he scream and writhing in pain, in my arms. What was already a horrible decision to have a fur family member put down became a nightmare.

After my wife's encounter I called and left a message for Ms.Heller. In hindsight I had the unfortunate chance to speak to Ms. Heller (Dr Heller's wife). I was very polite from the beginning. She was extermely rude. She insisted that my wife was 100% in the wrong. No matter what I said it didn't matter. Finally she told me she would refund our money and we were not allowed at their hospital again. I told her she was not breaking my heart. She hung up. It's a real shame. Dr. Heller has a great thing going for him (not his wif... read more

Unfortunately I had the same type of problem others here are sharing. We have been going to Huron Animal Hospital for 20 years but no more. I cannot recommend them to anyone anymore. The office staff and billing staff are the most hateful and rude people I have ever dealt with at a vet. If you care at all about your pet and sanity, choose another vet. When I had a problem with an unauthorized charge, (under $50), they refused to remove it and were just so mean. They chose to loose a loyal long-term customer with mult... read more

So for the last 3 days I had brought my very sick Bulldog to their clinic. I didn't have a problem w the staff being rude, in fact I thought they were very nice, I just feel like this place isn't the kind of vet you bring your animal if something is seriously wrong. Three days and three different vets and none of them had any idea what was wrong w my puppy. All they they care about is money. That's all I heard about. They pretty much suggested putting him down since they didn't know what was wrong. How on earth could I put m... read more

We called because they are closer to our house and we were asking questions. The lady on the phone was very rude and told us just to go back to our old vet even though they are 30 miles away. They wee just rude and snobby and they don't care about new customers or bringing them. A big disappointment as I thought they would be a good place to go and they proved the case.

I've been taking pets to Huron Animal Hospital my entire life (I'll be 39 in June 2014) and my parents were taking them there before that. I have (up until the last year or so) had only positive things to say about Huron. Unfortunately, over the last few years, that's no longer the case. To see a vet at Huron you make an appointment, which you would think would be a good thing; however, my last four or five "appointments" I've waited anywhere from 20 - 45 minutes (past my appointment time) before I've seen a vet. Now, I un... read more

I took my cat here a couple of times because he had issues with his eyes right after I adopted him. They really didn't know what was going on so after two visits and lots of $$$, I found another vet who explained he had a very common chronic condition that many shelter cats get. he didn't need any expensive medicine, just a supplement available in any store with a decent selections of vitamins. The main reason I cannot recommend this facility is because of the rude receptionist that tried numerous times to get me to declaw ... read more

We used Huron since before they built their new buidling. Since that time the charges have increased and the care decreased. We left them when they threatened to call Animal Control on us if we didn't follow through with an extremely expensive procedure on our 17 year old dog, We left and went home to grieve, and took him elsewhere to have him put down. Our new vet told us there was nothing to be done for him, it was just extreme old age and gave us the option to put him down or take him home to die. No more Huron for us.
