Would not recommend. Made an appointment in the morning to have my dog who has previously been in get a bordetella booster, and my new dog who has not been seen get the regular vaccines. I Was told on the phone that "dog 1" did not need to come in for the booster and that i can just pick it up, I only needed to bring in " dog 2" for the regular vaccines. This place is terrible and don't ever expect them to care when you have an emergency. I was taking all 3 of my rescue dogs here and all seemed fine. I did like the fact that they have walk in hours, but believe me, if it's beyond those very specific walk in hours you will NOT be seen no matter what! Here's how I know: About 6 months ago my Chihuahua was attacked by another dog. I grabbed him and headed to Huron. New customers beware! They refuse to make an appointment for you and tell you that they are walk in only. Once there you are the very bottom of the barrel (taken in only after the customers with appointments)! The staff won't hardly talk to you let alone provide any sort of customer service! I was there for an hour and a half waiting to have my dog seen. After a recommendation from a friend I called Huron Animal Hospital to schedule a new patient appointment for my dog. I only needed Bordatella for a upcoming trip. I was informed by the person on the phone that I could just walk in. So today I arrived at 10am to a very busy office. Remember, I'm a new patient. After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes, I asked how much longer. They said I was next. Another 15 minutes and a tech came out for another patient. This place charges you an office visit if you don't show up then u have to wait for an opening after all the other patients appointments are done, when you are just on a walk-in visit, frustrating when you have an ill furry friend

Been coming here for 12 years and I'm sad not sad to say that I'm done because for some reason they think it's ok to hire rude front desk and office staff. Which is unfortunate for most of the doctors (whom I like), because we have to filter through the awful front desk. This is my 4th negative experience with them so we are done. I realize that some people have bad days, but these people really shouldn't be the face of the hospital or need some serious customer service training.

i have been a patron of this facility since 1974 and today my doggie is in need and needs an appointment, i am told i cannot make appointments, the woman on the phone was horrible and basically told me to take my business elsewhere, customer loyalty means nothing to them for land's sake why couldn't they make an appointment there was no explanation given and they are happy to let my dog suffer, they said i can walk in i explained why that would be difficult for my doggie, they have taken a painful and horrible stance towards... read more

After spending 805. for a blockage in his bladder, our 3 year old cat died in great pain, while their office was closed(even though we were told to call them if any problems occurred) we were so disgusted by this, because it was all about the money.

If I could give zero stars I absolutely would! Dr. Heller's wife, Helen, told me today that she would rather lose a client than waive a $50 charge for a missed appointment that my wife made and called the day before to let them know. No matter how good the care, I refuse to be billed for something that I did not receive, in this case animal care. As a business owner, I find this absurd. I would never ask my client to sign something saying they would pay a $50 missed appointment charge, nor would I expect someone to pay f... read more
