I booked 2 rooms for my bridal party and I to get ready for my wedding day. Several times I called and even showed up in person to ask regarding details of how the room was set up and if I’d be able to take a quick look at the rooms. I asked if I could take a quick look since the website does not offer the 3-d tour that most hotel websites offer, and both times I was denied. I couldnt believe the room that I walked into. For starters, Ive seen dorm rooms in better conditions. Apparently they are not following COVID protocols because there were no garbage cans in the room itself, and the glasses that were provided were not protected in any way. They were simply turned upside down on a shelf. The AC unit was coming off the wall. One of the screws was missing. And the shower? I stayed with my family for one night. The room was not clean at all. There’s was hair all over the bed. When I woke up I had white hair all in my head and my sons’ head. I don’t know what the cleaning staff is doing but it certainly isn’t cleaning. The carpet is disgusting. I went to school there and had to dorm in that hotel 10 years ago and I’m pretty sure that’s the same carpet. It’s so expensive to have the room not even be cleaned properly. Place was rundown and dirty in some areas. Cleaning is provided only on Mondays. No change of towels or bedsheets unless you call and request it. And dare charge over $300 a night!
The shower was disgusting! Thank God i had tilex and was able to wipe the shower walls down. The ac had an odor. The key kept demagnetizing. Other wise the workers were friendly. Who not recommended!
Deluxe - What a joke What a cheap and disappointing hotel. Not worthy of the Hyatt name and definitely not worth the price. I was given 1 wash cloth and 1 hand towel, and breakfast was a paper bag with cold items. No bottled water In the room, no creamer for the coffee, no towel bar in the bathroom and 1 skimpy cotton spread on the bed. The only accurate thing in the description was that it had a king sized bed. Don’t be fooled by the “deluxe” promotion.
