I don't typically write reviews especially for a bank. I'm getting very frustrated with the service here. I'm kind of torn, I refinance my car through ICCU and they got me a very low interest-rate my compared to what I was paying. That's probably the only nice thing so far. I've had multiple times that I call into them for simple stuff and it doesn't get done. I tried to use First Mortgage company in Meridian just off Eagle Rd. We have had many mortgages, rentals, etc in the past all with good payment records I thought. Anyway we applied here bc it was a Costco recommended site I believe it was. Well after nearly three months of we need this, we need that, the underwriters this we gave up. I would give negative stars if possible. Jennifer at the one in Nampa off Greenhurst is dumb as they come and changed my account number by accident and refuses to take it off my credit report so it shows I closed my account. Then she kept trying to get me to update my name from my maiden name but then tried to charge me with a 13 fee for doing so without telling me, good thing I read the fine print. Ridiculous!!!!!!!!!

We have used this bank for 15+ years, today I went to cash a check that my mother had written. She had crossed the original name out (my boyfriend) and written it to me and initialed the change because he would not be able to cash it that day. They were not able to cash the check due to fraud concerns, which I understand and will just have my mom write a new check, but what I don't understand is why (after having been there for 15+ years and having been a loyal customer) I was treated like I had just committed a crime. Just an FYI - We moved here from Alaska and our bank up there would always notify us with texting and phone calls to verify charges that seemed like they might be fraudulent, e.g. charges made in states where we were not at. We never lost a cent. They have 24/7 phone call, LIVE person, support and can block charges and cards the instant that you notify them. I joined ICCU about a year ago because I heard their service was great. Two bad experiences made me finally leave. One was a with insurance added to my car loan. They added it without my consent. I asked the banker to remove the $400 insurance addition within the time frame allowed to have it remove. He said it would be taken care of. It never was. I have my business accounts with ICCU. About every third trip to the bank results in an error in my deposit. Yesterday the teller had to correct the deposit three times before she got it right. Would have cost me $200 and my word against hers. Good thing I looked at my receipts from all three attempts and stayed at the counter until she got it right. She can't count or do simple math. They used to be pretty good. However, they recently revamped their online Bill Pay system. Since then their new system randomly cancels my scheduled payments. And, I get the same run around as I do from the monster banks when I look for a resolution. I am now looking for a new bank.

Incompetent and unethical. Apparently they do not have employees with the skill needed to set up automatic payments correctly ... nor can they adjust them when they need to. Agreed upon arrangements needed to correct their mistake apparently are meaningless to them and thrown aside ,,, again because they lack the competence to correct their mistakes in their 'system' or really just don't care. This is a bad Credit Union!
