Rating Install America is difficult, because they did some things very well and others very poorly. So, I hope you will consider the good and bad points rather than just looking at the rating. First, their salesman was excellent for the most part. He demonstrated the benefits of their windows in a realistic way and covered everything exceptionally well. We have not had our windows installed yet. They will be installed sometime in the February. So far though, we have been very happy with the quality service.
Very Happy with the Work. We have had many people tell us that they like the look of the new vinyl siding and new shutters. We are very pleased with the workers who did the installations on our house and garage.
Sales pitch was a "take it now or lose it" kind of deal which I hate. Job was completed 3 weeks later than promised. They lost a star there. Otherwise the work was great. The workers were pro and polite and their workmanship was top notch. Overall I would use Install America again.
We had 18 windows installed and they were done in a day and a half with no mess. They look beautiful, but more importantly they are already keeping the house warmer!!
The initial contacts were great, but the follow-up and install were less than what we expected. They were unable to provide an install date so we could plan, the installation is OK but not perfect, and they did not provide timely follow-up with us. Overall it was an adequate but unspectacular experience, and for future projects we will consider others first.
Overall, we are very pleased and excited about our new sunroom. The carpenter did a great job and they ultimately did finish by the contract date. The only problem was communication between the office administration and the workers. I had to call the office to remind them of the deadline in order to get them to set a start date and to order the windows. Thank you, install America and our salesmen RON DAWSON who helped make the whole process a breeze.(who knew there were that many types of glass.) RON helped us find the correct windows and price for our home, even the mechanics who removed the old windows and installed the new windows were very professional and friendly they left the worksite clean and removed all the debris. Thanks again I'll be calling install America the next time.
The job was pretty good, but the windows were left with a lot of caulking residue, which was very hard to clean off, without using a razor blade. Some caulk was even left on some of the bricks on the outside of the house, which was very difficult to get off.
