It’s great there is a way to put cryptocurrency into retirement accounts It’s great there is a way to put cryptocurrency into a retirement account now. The monthly fees seem a little pricey and the cryptocurrency selection is small.

Web interface is limited and fails regularly. It was really easy to get my money into the system and support was very helpful in getting that process completed. However now that I have my money in the system and invested the web interface continually times out when I try to buy or sell. This site will fail completely at the worst possible time, when the market corrects and lots of people try to sell at the same time.

Meh... Although iTrustCapital allows you to buy crypto in your IRA, there's a lot lacking. There's no ability to stake, no chance to earn interest, you can't borrow against your holdings, it costs $30/month, and a 1% fee both when you buy and when you sell. It feels like a traditional bank.

Hi Michael, Thank you for your feedback. We hope to be able to be the first crypto IRA provider to offer staking in the near future, in addition to adding a yield feature. In general, you are not able to borrow against your IRA. This is something usually typical with 401(k) plans, not IRA accounts. Our fees are amongst the most competitive in the industry.
iTrust Ira Crypto Account - Extra Security and Tax Protection! Took awhile to get money transferred from ML IRA account, but so far very pleased with the platform, and the extra protection I get for my crpto holdings...not to mention the tax advantages this type of account offers.

A strong C+, with room to improve Onboarding==> B+. Fairly straight-forward and they give you a lot of instructions and a designated AE to sherpa your transfer of an IRA (if you're rolling in it can be complicated). In my case it was an inherited IRA, so the form that I needed was different than was sent to me and then to my old bank, which of course rejected the transfer.
