Perfect My husband installed it and it works perfectly!
Versatile installation at 2” or 2-1/2” I liked that the valve can be glued in with 2-1/2“ (outer) and 2“ (inner) valve connectors. This reduces the number of parts needed and allows for optimal design in some cases. I glued the valve directly into the 2-1/2” opening of the backwash valve and continued with 2” pipe on the out.
Great Valve but it is CPVC so check your glue Great check valve. Only trick is that this is a CPVC housing so attention to glue types should be used when joining with PVC pool plumbing.
Worth every penny I tried to save money by replacing the original Jandy valve with a 1.5 “ check valve. The 1.5 hp pump couldn’t suck it fully open, restricting the Water flow by 1/2. After Cutting everything back out and installing the above valve, the return pressure to the pool is now flowing perfectly. Lesson learned!
Nice product Needed this when replacing my pool pump with a new vfd pump. Works great does what it needed.
You can do this yourself!!! Save the $$$ Pool contractor wanted $300 to replace this. I literally just bought this and took out the screws in this one and my old one that was leaking and swapped the new valve into the old house because I didn't want to cut the PVC pipe. I took a couple of pictures of the old housing with the new valve in it. Took 15 minutes. Works great.
good materials I am using it to "see" water flow (looking for leaks, downstream from huge water tank.
Great Quality Perfect fit and works great. Install was easy...but make sure you measure twice and cut once.
