Great product These are awesome. I use this in my basement at the sump discharge so I can see when the storm sewer backs up during heavy rains. I then know to switch to an outside discharge and save potential basement flooding.
Love it - Cant believe I did not do it sooner. I was always losing prime on my pool pump when I removed the lid to clean the basket...we had a ball valve in place and it just did not work. I should have put this in a long long time ago.... Once installed it did take a while for the pump to prime, but that is because the pump is 6-8 feet above the pool....once primed, I have yet to have an issue with re-priming after opening the pump lid many times....water flow is immediate and the clear lid allows you to view the activity. ... read more

Flows nicely and its HEAVY DUTY! its great no leaks really easy installation and it is really durable i even took a hammer to it just to make sur i wasn't wasting my money and its working great! p.s. don't be like me and hit it with a hammer i was just making sure because i bought one from another manufacturer and it broke when i just opened the box.
It works great and the spring "feels" strong enough to support even ... Used to replace a non-cleanable backflow valve that got sand in it when the filter failed. Mounting it vertically could be a problem as the valve uses a spring to close the flap and the instructions claim it won't work if mounted "upside down" with water column "pushing" the valve open. I did not want to extensively modify the existing plumbing and gambled that it would seal if mounted vertically with only a foot of water to push against the spring. It w... read more
Great Check Valve. Does exactly what it needs to do. Keeps the pool water in the pipe to the pump intake. No hassles. Long life. My old Jandy check valve had to be replaced after 20 years of use as some of the other valves needed replacment, and it seemed like a good time to do them all. Easy apart for cleaning. Fits 2 inch pipe into the valve body. 2 1/2" pipe uses a coupling over the valve body. Use Grey Glue for all fittings 2" & up for best performance.
