JUNK Stopped working after a month!!!! JUNK
Junk and unreliable. Have had many years experience with these now and am switching brands. Garbage. Very little reliability. This was originally put in some years ago by my pool company. Since then I've had to replace the cell many times. It's always giving error codes. The head control unit LED started to go bad so now I can't even tell which error code it's producing. Cell not working properly Ítem not working , something wrong with it, what should I do?
Salt Cell Replacement UPDATE: The sensor stopped working within 45 days. Contacted seller who referred me to an “manufacturer number” who could help.., no one answers and no one returns those calls. Lots of money for a defective product. I would suggest not purchasing any hardware from this seller. Not sure if they handle chemicals but that may be safe as you use and it’s done. 1.0 out of 5 stars Seller (My pool yard) and manufacturer (Jandy) provided poor customer service on defective product I purchased a Jandy Zodiac Aqua Pure PLC1400 ( combination of salt generator and sensor) for my swimming pool from Amazon. After completing the installation my installer discovered that the flow sensor (part of the package) was not working. Why are Jandy parts being sold on Amazon if they are not warranted by the manufacturer?? the 3 year Warranty is void if bought on Amazon and the sellers don't have really much if ANY warranty. SHAME ON AMAZON FOR ALLOWING IT.
5.0 out of 5 stars Buy this one, NOT THE KNOCK OFF. You won't find it anywhere cheaper. Some things you just need to buy the manufacturer version of. This is one. There are no real alternatives. Jandy designed this thing kind of crappy because when the electro prongs go bad (corrosion) the whole item has to be replaced. Clean it with acid often but not too often.
1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT PURCHASE If you buy this product from Four Seasons Pool Supply on Amazon you lose the 3 year warranty. Mine is less than a year old and is leaking water through the electrical prongs. Four Seasons Pool Supply will not honor the 3 year warranty nor will the manufacturer. From their mouth to my ears…when you purchase it on Amazon you lose the warranty. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM AMAZON OR FOUR SEASONS POOL SUPPLY.
