Seller doesn't accept return of the defective item Jandy Zodiac AquaPure PLC1400 was working fine for less then 10 months and stopped. System is showing error 120. Seller doesn't accept a return or exchange.
Easy Install I was replacing the same cell so the install was very easy. I can't speak to the longevity of this cell obviously, but install was not hard. After install, I kept waiting for the Cell Reversing LED to go off but it never did - at least while I was watching. I did see the cell on and flow LED's light up (while the cell reversing LED was also lit) but never saw cell reversing turn off. My old unit stopped working and didn't want to replace ... My old unit stopped working and didn't want to replace everything. Purchased this unit and changed it out myself in 15 minutes. Had it for a few weeks and all is going well.
One Star This was fraudulently ordered on my acc't., so I returned it & have no info. about it.
buy this Bought this for well over $100 less than the Jandy had it listed for. My pool guy was shocked at how good the deal was. It's the "exact" same model he wanted to install but much, much less then even he could buy it for with his discount.
Avoid a lot of aggravation and wasted $ and DON'T BUY THIS JANDY SALT SYSTEM! Jandy APURE1400 AquaPure 1400 Salt Water Chlorinator This is a terrible product! Nothing against Amazon. Various parts have malfunctioned 3 times in 6 years, leaving our pool to turn green until it could be resolved. Warranty did cover one issue, but only after an incredible amount of hassle and time, and the service charge for the repair company wasn't covered. Poor Reliability I have had two serious issues with reliability with this system. I had to replace the sensor unit with the 'new and improved' unit because the original unit failed after two years of service. Very expensive repair but the replacement sensor (has the in-line box) has been working great. My original PLC1400 cell was working fine through its fourth summer when the chlorine levels dropped and faults 125 and 194 were displayed on the control unit. Worked for a few weeks and then NO FLOW I purchased this item on 7/24/17. My pool is ONLY 3 years old. Walked out to my pool on Friday and it's filled with mustard algie and black algie all over the bottom... looked on the panel and it says "NO FLOW". Not working after less than one month.
