Do not go to Joe Myers Kia. I dropped my car here off last week to the service department. Kimberly Waugh called me the same day and quoted my repair. Then when the car was picked up the bill was $400 more than the stated price. It was after hours and they told me I would need to call back the next day and speak with her. Took Optima SXL with Hid OEM headlights due to poor lighting low beam. Was told the OEM bulbs/ballast were missing....what? Told someone had replaced with halogen and was referred to the local shop they use for tint, sound and lighting aftermarket installs. Told a HID kit would cost about $130. Guess what........the original OEM HID is still in the car. If you go to this location and von is your salesman DO NOT give him your number! He called me twice a day for an entire week. I ended up having to block Kia number and of course he called me from his cell! It got so bad that I eventually answered and told him to leave me the hell alone! And that he ran my business off by continuously calling.
The service manager for Kia is not a reliable person. Troy did not contact Enterprises after telling me to drop off the rental with him and we were charged $157. its been a month since he's mistake cost us and we have yet to receive reimbursement. I've called him several times and just get the run around.
I've had the worst experience here these last 2 days. I bought my Kia Forte back in 2012, and for the first time I am highly disappointed in their service department. As a Kia Owner I brought my car yesterday due to a noise it started making. I waited about 2 and a half hours before someone comes to tell me they wouldn't be able to get to my car today. I recently purchased a 2008 Honda Civic from Joe Myers Used Cars Sales. I wrote a $1000 check as a down payment for the car and explained that I would be selling my son's old car and would either bring in the cash or tell them when to deposit the check. I went in on a Tuesday with the cash and was told that my check would be destroyed. Two days later, I discovered that they had actually already deposited my check the same day I paid them cash for the down payment. I purchased a used car from Joe Myers Toyota in September 2013 and I'm incredibly dissatisfied with my purchase. The Check Engine light has come on 5 times in the 5 months I've owned the vehicle and there is still more wrong with it. I have voiced my concerns to a few people at Joe Myers and they are still trying to get more money out of me. I left the review I'm copying below in regards to the Kia section of Joe Myers. I only dealt with the Ford side (which is owned by a different person) when I used their collision department after an accident and a horrible experience with another collision center. I've got no complaints about them. The Ford employees (including the manager) were way more polite and prompt than the Kia people, but couldn't assist with the problems listed below.
