Unfortunately not the experience we were hoping for on our special anniversary celebrations. The service was very slow and it seemed there weren’t enough staff present. My husband's ribeye steak was inedible as it was 70% gristle and should never have been served. We were offered a replacement but given the speed of service the rest of us would have been finished before he got a replacement. Given the cost of the steak and the experience of the chef they should have known the cut should have been rejected. Had visited Joeys ... read more

Never coming back , the hostess gives very bad energy when you come in , everyone is so hostile from the hostess to the server even the bill, they hoard all the good table & closed down the dining section although people were there which was very unprofessional.

We had booked dining room weeks in advance, we understand sometimes you can’t accommodate and we asked for it and whoever was seating us said it was all booked and its full. My husband asked when it will become available l, and i asked if there was a booth available at bar/lounge side her one and only response was “OKAY FINE” in extremely aggressive way. The server was awful. Really rude and unrespectful. Make us feel stupid. As she explain their adult happy hours. Interrupting our discussion in several occasions. Very impatient, gave us the menu and came back 30 second later to ask is we were ready to order. Not fun experience.

I would not hesitate to recommend Joey. Overall, food selection and quality is quite good and service is typically great. However, I was a little bit disappointed to find out that if you choose the dining room area, you are no longer eligible to receive the Happy Hour specials. Also, when I made the reservation, I checked the box indicating this was a business dinner. It started off rough as the hostesses didn’t know what to do when I had a reservation made at 7 PM, two tables were available in the designated section but yet they still made us wait over 20 minutes before seeing us. The manager came, tried to defend the hostesses, not making sense about keeping the two tables for other reservations, which I don’t think is more important than my reservation. Dinner for 5 at Joey Rideau on Saturday May 31/25. We had a good time and a nice dinner with one weird thing - a lot of what we ordered was unavailable. We had to substitute our the appetizer for the table...no hummus available. 4 of us couldn't get the main we ordered...cod and mediterranean bowl not available...we were in disbelief because it just kept happening.
