I went to Joey's with my kids, my mom and sister. I decided to order the steak and ravioli. I usually go for lettuce wrap and wings, but I was feeling for steak. The steak was good. I had it well done, and no it was NOT rubbery. The ravioli was ok. My 1st bite wasn't pleasant, but the rest was fine. 20 minutes after eating, I did have a stomach that prompted me to ask for the bill and go home. The stomach ache lasted the night. Very uncomfortable feeling.

We mentioned it was our Anniversary and New Years eve. We have been coming to Joey's for 3 years straight. We made reservations ahead of time and yet we were given a table at the back of the restaurant in a corner and right behind us was a shelf where they kept cleaning and putting plates and cups. The person working kept accidently hitting my chair from the back and apologizing. I have heard great things about Joey but our experience wasn’t so great. We were celebrating my birthday and had made the reservation via opentable. I went in person to make the reservation and the hostess working Dec 26 told me to book via opentable. She said doing this we could add notes to say it’s for a birthday and they will bring a free dessert. Come reservation night Dec 29, and the hostess says they don’t do the free dessert. Food was horrible, no taste, no seasonings. Portion size very small for the price. Mocktails full of ice.

Waterdown ice tea. We had to asked to be replaced. A single Mouse run thru the dining room. Food not as good as 6mo ago. The sushi was not worth the price. Salmon sushi salon was cooked tase to be asked by hot peppers. Tuna sushi the rice was dry on the surface. Stake was very good. Overall 80$ per person ? Many other places will be better for the price. Sorry it used to be one of our favorites, but it will not be any more. Just to add positive. The server was very nice and polite. Sorry.

Honestly I love joeys and my sister came down to visit for the holidays and I reserved the upstairs lounge and we were seated in the back corner where the staff were dropping off the dishes and on the first floor. The server she was nice but I only saw her twice…. It was not the vibe and I’m super disappointed. I never write reviews but I left feeling a bit upset.
Food was agreeable, however, we were seated in the upstairs lounge and it was quite cold. The only heat source were overhead hockey-rink style heaters. Our server was cordial. The food is a bit on the pricey side, and the tipping options started at 18%. I've always been a generous tipper when I receive great service, in fact, I've been criticised by my peers for being too generous at times, but a starting point of 18% for an average to less- than- average experience is starting to fatigue my sensibilities.
Didn’t take out drink order. Forgot to order our appetizer. Brought the wrong dinner meal. Lots of mistakes but were nice enough to comp a round of drinks and apps. The worst part was they said they had a large group to look after so service would be slow, as if I wasn’t as good as their party of water drinking teenagers. Makes me appreciate the Keg so much more. But it’s the holidays and things happen. Might given them another shot in the new year.
