La Quinta Central Park. Room was too warm. Breakfast was odd, like warmed hard boiled eggs. Heating system in room was noisy (banging pipes). Location is excellent. Desk attendant was very helpful. Cost is reasonable.

Enjoyed our stay just make sure you really like your roomate. The rooms are very small. This I'm sure is just the way it is in New York. The prices around Christmas are high and you have to sacrifice square footage for price I guess. All we did was use the room to sleep in so really no big deal. The service staff was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. We asked for extra towels and they were there within a minute. Best staff I have experienced in a long time. Check in was seamless. Great and will use it again. I like small boutique properties . Tiny elevator cd be a problem if u are travelling with large suit cases and it is slow so I was glad I was on third floor and could walk. Location perfect for someone who was going to the Met It is a very nice part of the city and not as busy as my usual spot at Times Square but still has great shopping and nice restaurants.
