La Quinta Central Park gave us a comfortable and convenient home away from home in NYC! The size of the rooms was small, but it is New York and at the rates offered, it is not a big deal. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. That's all I need when I travel. We absolutely love the location of the hotel; we could easily access all of Manhattan and we were only half a block from Central Park !!! Excellent Breakfast was a very busy time, as the diner is tiny. They also only have 1 elevator for staff and guests, which can be inconvenient. Really great staf and very comfrotable room. The bed was the best. Easy to get to, subway nearby, and the Central Park is just on the corner.
Great location, super staff. Great room, very quiet and super breakfast to start the day in a wonderful way. Loved the little Italian restaurant just a few doors away.
Excellent Good location
Great location and price but the building is frightening. It used to be a welfare hotel. The hotel is 12 stories tall with eight rooms on a floor, but only has one small elevator and one staircase. I cannot even believe that the building code allows this! If the elevator broke down, or there was an emergency, it would not be good. Also, there is no luggage storage room, so once you check out, all of your luggage sits in the lobby. The staff was helpful, especially the night manager, who was fantastic!
