Hot Tub Closed - they should say that We used to stay here often on our vacations to Fort Lauderdale. For some reason we stopped. Now we remember. We booked the hotel for this leg of our vacation thinking this place gave good service, was clean, location is okay, all positives. Plus free breakfast, pool and a hot tub. The first room that we were given was loaded with black mold. The hallways reeked of marijuana and the condition of the rooms looked as if the Good Will furnished them. The bathrooms were falling apart and the entire facility was in disrepair. The fact that they would feel comfortable giving a room covered in Black mold to someone paying 186 dollars a day is insane. Also, for the future, to be able to guarantee the ADA room, the best way would be to book that room, since we have limited ADA rooms in our property. Room 129 was already treated for mold. Sorry you had that experience.
The doorframe for the room door was badly damaged. It had been forced open at some point in the past and never properly repaired. Also, it was impossible to see out of the windows in the rooms because a coating on the glass had aged and changed in color, making the windows opaque.

Put it simply, I booked very early morning of 9-27-2024 after deciding that was smartest thing to do following argument with s/o I was told early checking avail then denied access bc it policy of 3PM checkin: so I had to book another hotel for more money. Laquita would not cancel or refund me and said I had room for 9.27-28 2024. Next day I arrive at 430 pm to check in. room prepaid in full and had debit card and cash on me rdy to make $250.00 cash deposit like I did at Residences Inn. Was told need card. Fine. The breakfast was horrible, same items every day. I noticed an abundance of homeless people residing in the car park of the hotel and also coming in the morning to eat breakfast, the staff notices but does nothing. This created a feeling of unsafe.
