The room smelled of mold and was damp the entire stay. The room could have been cleaner in general. We will not be staying there again.

The bed mattress "had a hole in it" i.e. the center of the mattress was sunken and did not provide proper support After initially saying there were no other rooms, another room was found

I decided to book with La quinta because my last booking with the hotel was great. However, my experience at La Quinta 8101 Peters Road was horrible. The hotel desperately need renovations. The beds were hard and having back issues I could literally feel the springs in the mattress. I had booked for 3 nights but had to cancel on the first night due to the deteriorating infrastructure. Place is extremely run down, ive stayed there a few times over the years and it had dramatically changed. It feels like a sketchy motel , pretty sure there were some ladies of the night working out of the rooms. If you need a bed, ac, bathroom and cheap, then staying is fine but your not wanting to stay there for vacation or with your family.

Initially, I came to the reviews to make a decision about the property. The rating was 8.2/10 I was like that’s good because it appeared affordable and the reviews also spoke about them having good breakfast. I needed to stay in proximity to the hospital because my toddler had a procedure scheduled. I had a terrible 1 week at this hotel. Receptionists, Dee and Karla, were very rude, unprofessional, and negative. They were very discriminative. Marie, the manager, was never reachable. I didn't have hot water to take shower and I stayed at a suite by paying more. I got sick due to cold water. Internet didn't work. WIFI at the hotel has problems. No wifi all night! Horrible heavy spray in room to cover extreme mustiness. Old and dated needs an update! There’s only so much paint can cover. No usb chargers in lamps or easily accessible plugs. Rude staff. Classic south Florida lack of hospitality!
