.On arrival at 11.30 pm, we were given a room which had a terrible cigarette scent. unable to contact the front desk by telephone in the room since it was not working. had to go back down to lobby .coffee never replenished for my entire 4 day stay .very dirty carpets .substandard furniture with visible damage marks .no vending machines on upper floor .breakfast was always exhausted by 7.00am except on the last day .hotel entertained an assembly of persons each accompanied by a dog. these guests dined at the breakfast every m... read more

Laquinta 8101 Peters rd I was very unsatisfied with my stay at the LaQuinta. There were renovations being down on both inside and outside of the hotel. I fully understand that south Florida was hit by a hurricane last year but I feel I should have been notified of the work being done. The rooms were smaller than the photos online , the bathroom was not as clean as it could have been, the water pressure was low in both the bathroom and sink. I know they were damaged by Irma, but... Pros: The location Cons: Full overhaul is required, not just repairing the hurricane damage which insurance covers. Spend some money and make it better. Location: Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. 2 large shopping center within a 5 minute drive. Within 10 minutes of Ft. Lauderdale airport/cruise port. Hurricane damage doesn't account for food and who knows what else stains in my room's carpet and the hallway carpets. It doesn't account for the shower curtain rod hanging by the ... read more

The hotel I would not stay there again there were bed mites in the bed me and my family got bitten from them also the sheets were not cleaned we had to ask for clean ones to change th bed

Bad hotel stay Pros: Staff very friendly Cons: Quit putting holds on peoples credit cards this is the only hotel that does this. I still have not got the hold off of my bank card!! Location: na/ Room bed was bad and hurt my wife and my back after one night of staying there. We also got severely sick from the mold smell due to the hurricane water damage the hotel took form the storm. They need a complete new roof and need to gut the entire inside of the hotel and start over due to the damage and health hazards.

Itchy Situation The room appeared to look nice, my husband and I were newlyweds and just needed the room for one night because we were flying out the next morning. We went to bed and as I slept which was only a couple hours I noticed I started itching on my arms, but didn't think too much of it. The next morning the itched had progressed I was itching all over. I showered and dressed however the itch still remained.
