We have to completely disagree with this. We are a small family owned hotel who has been in business running hotels for over 20 years. We go above and beyond for our guests to have a great stay. On the morning of your departure our housekeeper knocked on your door. Waited. Heard nothing so they then unlocked door to come in and clean. She did not even open the door completely or enter the room when she then heard someone say hello. She then closed door and went to her next room. The only reason I stayed here is because they are one of the only hotels who took dogs. The stairway smelled of puppy pee and the pool looked dirty. Breakfast was gone by the time I came down at 8:40am. All of it… there was only coffee out and a rude sign which I will post below. The outside of the property is beautiful and it’s in a great location within walking distance to restaurants. The Kemah boardwalk is about 8 minutes away (way longer on weekends w/traffic).

Thank you for your feedback. We do serve a continental breakfast that includes various types of cereals, toast, bagels, cream cheese, butters, jellies, honey, pastries, coffee, OJ, hot tea, and milk. It is just a little something to get you going in the morning. We do apologize if it was not to your liking. We have chosen to keep our rates lower then most competitors and focus more on our rooms and property instead of charging higher rates for a more elaborate breakfast. Bad We had a horrible stay, there was a family of children who were up until 3-4am running around and making a ruckus. We complained to the front desk and they said they would compensate us for the night (which they did not) and they also assured us that they were going to move the family to a room on the lower level since they had so many complaints. THIS also didn't happen, the next night was the same----false promises and poor customer service. Location was good
