Disappointing Old tired dirty Location

It is difficult to make a determination when most reviews are very positive and then we receive a review such as yours that contradicts most of the other reviews.
Disappointing
Musty, outdated, not so nice staff. The rooms and furniture smelled like mildew and were extremely outdated. This “executive king suite” was lower quality than a cheap motel and far more disappointing. We asked the staff to move to another room because of the horrific smell and not being a clean, and they just flat out refused and said “no” even though there were other rooms available at the same rate we already paid. They even refused to cancel and refund our first night right after we got there. The view was good.

BUGS BUGS BUGS and RUDE STAFF Everyone at the front desk was very rude. We came in at 2:45. Ask to check in and the counter staff barked at me say check in is at 4. Made us sit in the lobby till then even when our room was ready. There were bugs on the floor in our room. Asked to change rooms. The front desk said we can not change the room because we booked through booking.com The people above us were stomping on the floor all night. Fair The beds and floors were not as clean as I would have expected for the price. The location is perfect and the view is beautiful.

Fair Front desk staff - not friendly Cleaning staff very nice room walls are paper thin - we could hear normal conversations ongoing; kids in neighboring rooms too loud and could hear everything in our room. Balconies connect to each other - creating more noisce in each room due to neighboring rooms being on their balcony late at night. Certainly not worth paying over $400 for Friday and Saturday night! location and view

Mixed Feelings Now for the cons: Our first evening there, we quickly noticed that all of our feet were completely black with dirt and whatever other gunk that was on the extremely dirty carpet. So much so, that our son left black footprints on the comforter when we crawled onto the bed. So wearing socks was a must anytime we were in our room. Fantastic location, loved that view, very unclean The cleanliness was just terrible. The first room we had smelled like someone pooped right in the floor. We requested to change rooms and had to pay for an upgrade since it was the only room available. Then the second room has a dirty toilet and was overall just not very clean
