Horrible spot. From start to finish it was a bad experience with the exception of our server but even that was okay at best. The restaurant is hideous - no cohesive design outer-space with ballet topped with modern. Ack! For starters the restaurant accepts late reservations, but we were rushed to put in our order since the kitchen was closing. Oysters went okay but came out without the fixings or flatware. Overall, very negative experience. The hostesses were rude and even with a reservation, they made us stand in the entry way while the two hostesses argued over where to seat us. The musician playing piano was fine but it was amplified so loudly that we could barely hear each other. Everyone around us was shouting across the table. Our server was kind, but seemed overwhelmed. We were late, so I’m so happy with them still being able to seat us. Our service was great! Venue great! The food was severely lacking. I paid the full bill, no fuss. It’s Valentine’s Day. But the food, was a major disappointment.

The food was good, but it seemed like most dishes included beef. It is expensive.
Definitely delicious food and great ambiance. Prices are a premium considering portions and alcohol pours. Old Fashion was $18 and pour was maybe 1.5 ounces of bourbon….maybe. My wife’s pasta was $31 with no protein and looked like a small child’s plate; but delicious. Conclusion….great food, service, and ambiance; just over valued. Not sure we will go back.
The waiter assumed that we were vegetarian and he generalized with us basing on my skin color. We were offended but didn't say anything to him that time around. We ordered our food which was medicare at best. Drinks were exceptional. Bartender did a great job. Besides that, I would recommend dining there.
We were very excited to try out La Stella, but left disappointed. The food was fine, but too salty (every - and I mean every- entrée). Service was spotty. The host initially tried to sit us at a table right by the door, one of the less desirable ones. We asked for a different table, and our request wad accommodated. Fine.
