A highly awarded restaurant that is simply overpriced. $75 for a second rate veal cutlet is quit unreasonable. An extremely expensive wine list (dozens of wines over $500). Very small pasta servings for $30 plus dollars. I guess folks in Dallas are so rich that they have forgotten what the term “good value” means.
Our server Amanda C was NOT good! She brought our appetizer salad WITH our meal! Then was upset that we wanted it packed to go rather than eating it! Next, she described the “special” dessert of the night as a White Chocolate cake! When asked SPECIFICALLY if it was cake or bread pudding, she said CAKE! When it came out it was BREAD PUDDING! We were given a table by the kitchen and several better tables were vacant the rest of the night. Disappointing
Service was very good. 2 out of the 5 people attended did not like their dinner. Rack of lamb overcooked. Poor Red wine selection. Basically had to pay $180 for a bottle of Cabernet and they only had one Bottle of that Cabernet. Not much choice on the $100-125 level for Red wine
Unfortunately, this restaurant is overpriced. You’re charged $15 for the mediocre bread at the start of the meal. Bottles of water were also overpriced. The specials were twice the price of similar menu items, but those price differences weren’t openly shared. The valet attendant wasn’t at the stand when we approached the restaurant so we parked in a $20 lot only to find out the attendant had been sitting out of site. The best things about the restaurant were the servers and the musician. The live music was great.
There was a very very loud lounge singer performing. Did not go with the dining room size or the theme of the restaurant.
We waited 40 minutes to be seated. We also arrived on time. Secondly, my food was undercooked. I would think we would be offered a a drink as we were waiting, that was never offered like other restaurants have done in my experience. I would not come back.

We picked this place because it’s across from the Opera House. Got there 2 hours before the performance and told our waiter we can’t be late for 8:00 show. We got our food with lots of apologies about the slow kitchen at 7:50. Then we found out on our check that they charged us a combined $63 for water!!! For 6 people! Once and done.
Had high expectations based off past reviews and was just completely let down. The food was just sad… was bland as ever. Drinks were pure sugar and ice… save your money and go to a chilis before here.
