The food was very bland and nasty. My boyfriend threw his plate up as soon as we got to our room.

Was very disappointed. Recently moved to Reno from Sonoma County. Specifically went for the “World Famous” mushroom ravioli. Very pedestrian. Nothing made them memorable. Texture, flavor, sauce was weak. Wife had $28.00 Veal Piccata. Flat sauce, tough veal. Tasteless vege. Both had Caesar salads. Needed more acid. Very bland. Garlic bread was best part of meal.

We were disappointed with our food, it is not what we are used to at La Strada. It may be the restaurant just re-open for business about 2 weeks ago and they are working out everything. We will definitely go back after a couple of months and give it a try again.

This was the worst dinner we have ever had. The sea bass had no flavor and sat in a bowl of watery broth. The veal shank was served in a bowl surrounded with risotto and covered from head to toe in gravy, again lacking flavor and it tasted tough and old. They did not charge us for the Sea Bass. I was so disappointed as we were celebrating a birthday.

Service was not good at all. Not once did she refill our wine glasses or ask if we needed anything. We were constantly having to flag her down.

I have to disagree with the high ratings I saw for La Strada prior to making reservations. We had to send back the Fettuchini Alfrado with Chicken. The chicken was charred , overcooked and tough. The Alfredo sauce was really bland, no cheese was detected in the flavor. I ordered the Scallop Risotto and it was fine, but served with just 3 scallops and a huge sea of Risotto. In all, we felt the experience did not live up to our expectations, and the price tag. Cannot recommend it, and won't go again.
This had to be the worst meal we have ever had at La Strada. Down right disappointing. Pan seared scallops entree was served with 3 small scallops with enough risotto to feed an army - for $40.00 this was absolutely outrageous. The beet salad was tasteless and had more carrots in it than beets. The lamb chops were burnt and extremely fatty and sat upon some sort of green mash. The creme brule was like soup. It was the worst food I have ever had from Italian restaurant the pasta was soaked in water the food was bad, We had a appetizer it was calamari and it was cold. I don’t think I will go there again.
Where to begin with this most disappointing of all dining experiences. Reservation made months ago for much anticipated event: my husband’s birthday dinner followed by concert. The restaurant mgr/wine expert, Gary, gave our group wonderful recommendations on wine, promising start. Unfortunately, it was all downhill from there.
