My nephew ordered the seafood linguini. He bit on a piece of mussel shell that broke during the cooking process. I advised the waiter and he did not care. Food was okay, but service was terrible. Will not come back here again.

Food is grossly overrated!!!. And if you are particularly concerned about what you are being served you cannot rely on what it says for vegi sides, etc. on the menu. Mushroom sauce was not reduced, rather they used floor or some other thickener...not very good tasting either. Probably what I should have expected for a casino restaurant. I will go to a non-casino restaurant next time. Good wine list, adn not priced that badly, but that is not enough!!!

Server didn’t offer ground pepper with salads- had to ask. Dinner came out a long time after salads were done- my pappadelle pasta plate was too hot to touch and pasta was chewy and gummy- I ate about a fourth as was hungry. When he came to pick up plates- I mentioned it wasn’t good and showed him how the pasta was stuck together- he said sorry. He asked if we wanted dessert- no we stated and then instead of taking pasta charge off bill he brought us a “free dessert which we didn’t want. Don’t understand all the good ratings... read more

Ordered a caesar salad split. Server said she could do it for free at table or we could pay 2.50 for the kitchen to do it and they would be larger portions. We opted for the latter. Salads came and there was maybe a cup of lettuce on each plate. 11.50 for 3 cents worth of lettuce. Ordered baked ziti which should have been called mac and cheese. Terrible rendition. Not like any I have ever seen. Also ordered rigatoni with duck in a demi glace sauce. Tasted great but way too rich. Server was very nice and helpful. Overall it w... read more

Can’t believe I’m having to writing this... I have been dining at La Strada since it originally opened and have taken friends and clients their frequently. There’s been times when things weren’t perfect but the food was always excellent. This time, not the case. It started with the bread and continued on... I had their Signature Mushroom Raviolis. They came lukewarm, and mediocre tasting. As was the case with my husband’s fettuccine and our friends Halibut. Our salads (Caesar & Capresse) were also mediocre. The only positive... read more

We went to dinner with another couple. I tasted my husband's duck dish and we both got a very sharp bone. Ouch!. We didn't make a scene but that could have been disastrous! The waitress came with our bill and said there was a mistake. She quickly came back with new bills. In checking our credit card accounts the next day, the other couple got charged 4 times on their credit card. Our card was charged correctly. The waitress did not know much about the wine pairings or the menu....hmmm!
