This is a regular favorite for my wife and I. A great place for different food. The Tea Leaf Salad is the best. We are making it through the rest of the menu trying different dishes. Everything is great.
This was our first time here. We've been spoiled by more authentic Burmese restaurants in SF that aren't as fancy but tastier and much provide much better value. The staff is really great -- great service and so accommodating with kids so we really appreciated that aspect, especially for such a seemingly fancy restaurant. But unfortunately given the price and value I don't think we'll go back.

We recently enjoyed an amazing dinner at Rangoon Ruby's. The staff were terrific and the meal was served up fast and hot.. Everyone from the hostess to the server to the owner took great care of us. The food was great! So flavorful and varied. It was a delicious cross between Indian and Chinese and it did not disappoint. The tea leaf salad was particularly delicious. Very different from anything we had tried before. We tried a new California wine on their recommendation and thoroughly enjoyed it! We will definitely be back!
This is our first time at this place and we loved it. The food are tasty and the service are very good and friendly. Might try again at another location on Palo Alto.
Tea Leaf Salad is a must order. Veggie Kebats, Egg-Okra, Garlic Noodles - mmm. You cannot go wrong with Rangoon Ruby!
We went with two other couples and were very pleased with the wide selection of entrees we ordered. The tea leaf salad, crispy chicken, spicy noodles and coconut rice were all excellent. News of this place will travel fast. I wish them much continued success.
This was my second time dining at Rangoon Ruby's, and it was every bit as wonderful as the first time. If I had to choose one food to eat for the rest of my life, it would be the Samosa Salad all day, every day. They bring all the ingredients to the table and assemble it there while explaining what each delectable ingredient is.
