This was my second visit to Rangoon Ruby's. I had lunch the first time. It was great. My husband and friends enjoyed it soo much. We had the calamari for and appetizer, shared a Burmese chicken salad. Everything was excellent!!!We had the chili beef, the sesame beef, salmon with vegetables and the deep fried salmon balls. Outstanding!!!
I was pleasantly surprized as to what a hip and trendy restaurant this was. The food was so flavorable and I loved my whole coconut drink. The flat screen T.V's outside and inside the restaurant were a fun touch. A bright, minimal, hip place with delecious clean and flavorful food@ 2 thumbs up.
Ruby Rangoon is a perfect blend of traditional elegance with a slight hint of trendiness. Having reservations we were seated promptly by our cheerful hostess Samantha. Our server Carlos knew the menu by heart and suggested a roti-like pancake, Basil Chili Beef, and other tasty dishes. Despite a busy night, he exhibited a sense of humor and served with a smile.
