Not what it used to be. Seems like the location is no longer as popular before covid.
Have been at this restaurant numerous times but was disappointed with all aspects of this evening. The food quality was below expectations and the presentation was below standards.
Stale meal. The service was pretty sub standards and the waiter wouldn’t listen to what’s wrong with the food, and responded that it is how it is. I ordered Samusa soup and it is very obvious that the food was cooked from a day before, the vegetables were not fresh and felt reheated and stale
We are the first customers at the restaurant. The service was very slow. Very slow in giving us water They ran out of coconut pudding. The waiter forgot to order my to go pad thai order which took another 15 minutes wait. I don’t have the choice but to tip for 20% for a crappy service. Ridiculous
Service was terrible
Staff was very nice when they came around (outside table), but we felt somewhat forgotten. Food was mediocre. Prefer Palo Alto location.
Waiter was not available much of the time so no water refills Portions small for price Tea Leaf salad not prepared at table & extremely light on dressing/ lacking flavor Wouldn’t go back
The host was not very welcoming when we arrived; seemed annoyed because we arrived on time for our reservation at 5 pm, as he was still setting up tables. The overall presentation of the chicken lettuce wrap added to this low rating. The Romain lettuce was more yellow than green. The samosas and the pork garlic noodles were not bad. We took home the leftovers. We overheard the host tell the customers near us that the restaurant is under new management. Perhaps this review will serve as constructive criticism to do better.
Used to be my favorite place for Burmese food. However, the food served did not match the menu description, i.e., Burmese Chicken Salad described as braised chicken came out with shredded, gristly dark chicken with too much lettuce and overdressed. The Ginger Salad is supposed to be mostly crunch with little lettuce, again too much lettuce and overdressed without very much crunch. Seemed to be made early in the day with limp wonton strips.
