The physical facilities at Lief Johnson Ford are tired, rundown and appear poorly maintained. It does not inspire confidence in me to have my vehicle serviced there.

This dealer is the stereotypical example of an old school used car dealer that does not have any ethical boundaries. These guys will not hesitate at going to any extreme to put their hands in your pocket to steal your money. I work with companies such as Leif Johnson Ford in Austin and I can immediately judge the culture of this organization. I had the worst possible experience buying a car from Leif Johnson Ford: 1. Once an agreement was reached on the price, the Used Car Manager tried to renege on the agreement by trying to increase the price by $2000. I had to remind him that this constituted a type of fraud. 2. Since I was going to fly-in from El Paso to pick the car, the dealership refused to pick me from Bergstrom airport which is not even 20 minutes away from the dealership. I was lied to. I was treated like an idiot when I knew exactly what was wrong with the truck. I was promised that my parts and labor was being covered under my warranty. It was not. Their price was $400 higher than the diesel tech that diagnosed my truck for the same problem two days before but I went with Leif Johnson because of the warranty promise. I recently had a warranty issue with my 2018 Ford Raptor regarding a leaking sunroof. I contacted Leif Johnson Ford, and I couldn't be more impressed with their prompt and efficient service. They immediately arranged for a loaner vehicle to be dropped off at my location and picked up my vehicle for repairs on the same day. When the job was completed, they seamlessly swapped out the loaner for my repaired vehicle without any inconvenience on my end. I found a Bronco online that I absolutely fell in love with, contacted the dealer to confirm availability and was told it was still available. Requested an appointment for a test drive as I was coming from several hours away, this was taken care of very quickly. After driving 2 1/2 hours, we arrived at the dealership only to wait for 20 minutes while a sales clerk "looked for the keys". The car has a pretty bad shake at highway speeds. I can't believe that your "150 point inspection" would have missed that. I think you knew the car had problems, and you didn't disclose what you knew.
