Best vet around. Stella and I are so lucky to have found such a caring and attentive staff. Dr. Meltzer and Byron always make sure Stella is comfortable (she gets a bit nervous at the vet) so much to the point she can't wait to get out of the car when Byron comes to bring her in! Dr. Funk is by far the most caring and compassionate veterinarian around. When my dog Chewie was nearing the end, Dr. Funk offered all the aggressive options but told us truthfully that a 14 year old dog with multiple ailments has already lived a full life! Instead of pushing to prolong the misery of my dear pup, I feel I made the right choice. With the warm reception of Dr. Funk and his staff I feel Chewie was truly comfortable in the end. Our German shepherd Clementine developed an infection while we were in the area on vacation. The staff at Levittown Animal Hospital got us in quickly to see Dr. Funk, who showed amazing knowledge, kindness, and clarity, while treating our sweet Clementine. Dr. Funk was clear on care options and Clemens was all better within two weeks. We were so happy to have found an out-of-town vet show such professionalism and consideration to allay our concerns.

Amazing vet with very friendly staff and sparkling clean facilities. We have been taking our German Spitz here to see Dr. Meltzer for his annual checkups as well as for his multiple health conditions including his IVDD and recently a sprained front leg. Dr. Meltzer is very knowledgable and was able to put our dog at ease even though he hates going to the vet. We have gone to multiple vets and I have to say Dr. Meltzer is by far the best.
I can't say enough to attest to the superlative care and kindness I experienced with everyone at the hospital. Unfortunately, my 17 year old Cockapoo ( who has been partially paralyzed for the past 12 years) had deteriorated to the point that we needed to consider putting her down. My own Vet (West Hills Animal Hospital) did not respond to our calls so I looked elsewhere and was lucky enough to come upon the Levittown Animal Hospital. I was so impressed with the exceptional, knowledgable, thorough, AND tender care given to my cat, Wilson. Wilson is about 15 years old and fell down the stairs in the morning and couldn't really stand. We knew that we had to put him to rest. It wasn't easy but we where trying to keep him going for the last few months. I am so impressed with the time spent with explaining, sharing, comforting without any sense of being rushed. We love it here! After adopting Donatello from North Shore in October of 2018 we were looking for a local vet to take him to. We ended up coming here and felt at home right away. Dr. Funk was great with our boy and made him feel at ease. They've been wonderful with all visits and have always given great advice. We needed to visit an emergency vet that they recommended and when we had our follow up with them, they made sure our dog was okay. This is the place to bring your pets if you want the best treatment. I know people personally that work there and I wouldn't go anywhere else for my pets . Thankyou to the staff / Byron and Dr. Funk. Y'all are the best !!
My dog Olivia had a seizure today so we rushed her to the nearest animal hospital one of the few that was open on a Sunday afternoon. They took her in right away and started to check her to find out what happened and what's wrong. The staff was very nice very accommodating and thankfully she was OK. I would feel comfortable coming back here again if another emergency should arise.
