Could not have been luckier to find this animal hospital! We live locally and adopted our elder pitbull 4 years ago and have been bringing her here (as well as our 2 other dogs) ever since. Our previous vet in Bethpage denied us care saying "he didn't treat pitbulls" so we immediately found Levittown Animal Hospital. And boy did we luck out. Byron & Christine take care of Justice with the upmost love & care every time. Yesterday Byron came in on his day off to care for our Justy girl during her oral surgery. Dr Funk is incre... read more

I was so impressed with the exceptional, knowledgable, thorough, AND tender care given to my cat, Wilson. Wilson is about 15 years old and fell down the stairs in the morning and couldn't really stand. We knew that we had to put him to rest. It wasn't easy but we where trying to keep him going for the last few months. I am so impressed with the time spent with explaining, sharing, comforting without any sense of being rushed. Thank you for your wonderful, sweet, yet professional ENTIRE staff, as well. I could not have felt ... read more

We love it here! After adopting Donatello from North Shore in October of 2018 we were looking for a local vet to take him to. We ended up coming here and felt at home right away. Dr. Funk was great with our boy and made him feel at ease. They've been wonderful with all visits and have always given great advice. We needed to visit an emergency vet that they recommended and when we had our follow up with them, they made sure our dog was okay. We recently took in another dog, Rosie, and brought her to Dr. Nunez. She was so nerv... read more

My dog Olivia had a seizure today so we rushed her to the nearest animal hospital one of the few that was open on a Sunday afternoon. They took her in right away and started to check her to find out what happened and what's wrong. The staff was very nice very accommodating and thankfully she was OK. I would feel comfortable coming back here again if another emergency should arise.

After being long time (32 years) clients of Wantagh Animal Hospital we went recently while our dog was having abdominal distress and we had a vet who had no bedside manner and then refused to return our calls with our bloodwork results (after telling us to call the next day). So, when our pooch was still having diarrhea and bloody stool, we searched for Dr. Fischman who used to work at our vet. We found her here however she wasn't in and we were assigned Dr. Nunez.. seeing mixed reviews on here I was hesitant but my pooch ne... read more

Best vet I ever had to bring my pet too. I recently had to bring my new puppy in to get her 2nd round of shots. I wanted to use a vet that was more local to my home. Levittown Animal hospital had very good reviews. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the doctor was also very friendly and had good advice. I felt very comfortable and confident with my decision and I'm glad I did. They even sent me a thank you card welcoming me to their family.

I cannot say enough great things about this amazing place. From the staff's caring nature to the doctors thorough examination. They made me and my dog feel very comfortable and truly cared what was happening even after we walked out the door.
