After being long time (32 years) clients of Wantagh Animal Hospital we went recently while our dog was having abdominal distress and we had a vet who had no bedside manner and then refused to return our calls with our bloodwork results (after telling us to call the next day). Best vet I ever had to bring my pet too. I recently had to bring my new puppy in to get her 2nd round of shots. I wanted to use a vet that was more local to my home. Levittown Animal hospital had very good reviews. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the doctor was also very friendly and had good advice. I felt very comfortable and confident with my decision and I'm glad I did. They even sent me a thank you card welcoming me to their family.

I love and trust the entire staff at Levittown Animal Hospital. Everyone is friendly, loving and professional. Dr. Fischman an is the very best her compassion for the animals and us the owners is awesome. She is a rare diamond and happy she is my Sandi Pi's vet. Thanks Maureen Russo

I am giving three stars because I like Dr. Funk he is an awesome doctor. This review is about the female doctor Sorrowitz. Never in my life have I ever talked to a doctor with such disrespect. She gave me a different opinion then Dr.Funk. She knows NOTHING. Not to mention she is disrespectful and unprofessional. To the point I had left the office in tears because of the way in which i was spoken to. My dog came in with a limp and I was simply asking too many questions for her. They are so helpful and good with the animals. They take times to make sure the animal is comfortable in their surroundings. I'd recommend them to everyone!

They are amazing. Had been going to another vet for over 20 years who missed a cancer diagnosis. My dog had unusual lump. Went to previous vet who said it's nothing and then failed to properly treat his ear infection. Due to latter problem I tried Levittown. Dr. Sorowitz immediately saw the problem and we caught it in time. Other docs there are great as well - Dr. Fischman and Dr. Funk. Highly recommend LAH!

We took our 13 year old Orange male tabby to get his teeth checked out I am very thankful we had cash on hand because it cost over 1500 dollars apparently he needed several teeth pulled and a biopsy for a cyst they found which turned out to be nothing. I don't even care about the cost it was a lot but my cat is like my child so it's worth it if he will feel better. I am giving this place three stars because honestly I didn't think the female vet that we dealt with was very friendly. We used this office a few months prior ... read more

I gave them 3 stars originally because of a snotty receptionist but that was years ago and there's a good chance she's not there anymore, and Dr. Nunez is excellent. He apologized directly to my dog for not being able to do anything for him when he was dying, although I don't think Rocky understood what was said.

I'm not a big yelper. I had to write a review for this veterinary. I called last minute because my dogs ear was really bothering him. They squeezed me in on a Sunday & we're very polite. My whole experience with the staff in the hospital was great very nice and caring. The vet we saw was caring, she wanted to make sure she was attending to his every need.
