Took my car to have airbag replaced 2 weeks ago ( recall ) , car is brand new (bought 6 months ago) was running just fine before I took it to have airbag replaced. A week later my car has NO ELECTRICAL POWER . Battery is brand new & key fob battery works. I initially really enjoyed this place and the selflessness their company displayed by having autistic persons working their concession stand. I called the General Manager Bill Annear , there was no answer .
Took my '01 GS430 in due to shaking when applied brake. Already had a pretty good idea that the problem was warped rotors. Asked them to check front suspension good just in case as well First of all, despite having an appt. it took them 2 1/2 hours just to look at it and get back to me. When they did finally get finished checking it, I was quoted $500 just to replace the front rotors, no new pads. The battery in my 2008 400h recently died. We had the car towed in to the dealership as we weren't sure with the hybrid if we could jump or replace with any ole battery from Autozone. We received the email estimate of services recommended and declined all but the diagnostic and battery replacement at $173.50...although we questioned the price of "diagnose and advise" at $229.21. Service personnel were courteous and the 50k service was performed as scheduled. My concern is the trend I am seeing in the service department. I get the sense they are woefully understaffed. No one was in bay upon my scheduled arrival. Service took longer than anticipated. Car was washed, courtesy service, but inside was not touched. Still had plastic on seats, paper floor mats and backs of stickers tossed on floorboards! Not the quality I expect.
There was a time when I would go to the Lexus Dealer of Greenville and the customer service was great. Now, the customer service is very, very lack-luster to say the least. I arrived for an oil change at 5:00pm under the customer service doors and was greeted at 5:05pm. Finally, when someone did take the time to ask me why I was there, it was very nonchalant. I came to Lexus yesterday with my 81 year old father. He just purchased a preowned LS460. The first thing I want to point out is the lack of accommodations for the physically handicapped. My father has limited mobility. The waiting area is not conveniently accessible. We waited over 3 hours with an appointment to have the battery checked. I gave Roxie the history. I've had 2 service appointments and was supposed to receive follow up calls on a couple of things. Never received the calls. I had my oil changed this past week. I live 45 minutes away. Once I got home, I discovered they had not reset the service message. I had to make another appointment and drive 45 minutes for them to reset it. It was Saturday and they were supposed to get me a quote on something. Said they would call me on Monday with the quote. Today is Saturday and still no call.
