I was looking to buy a house and was deciding between Chris and another Lender. The other lender offered a good rate (2.75% with no points) and Chris said he would be able to match that rate. I am first time home buyer and this is my husbands third time buying a house. He said this is the worst mortgage company he has ever dealt with. The lady at the title company said she could not believe the fees they charged. Her exact words were "i know who not to work with when i begin my buying of a home". This was sooo disappointing as i used Rob Dawson on a reference. As a first time home buyer i had many questions and was double checking all the numbers and terms and condition. What i recieved was HORRIBLE customer service and i was made to feel as if i was an inconvenience and that every set back was my fault directly. If it hadnt been too late for me to switch lenders i 100% would have. Seemed like the lender was very new. Didn't know how to talk to people. Very rough. Needs to get out of the business. We were told false information through the whole process. What a nightmare.
Never seemed to know what was going on and, with 800+ score and $100k down was bogged down by some extremely, unnecessary petty details. The whole loan got put on hold over me opening up a new credit card (2% cash back) because I could not prove I did not have a balance on the new card that I had not received. Recommend you stay with your local banker!
Poor customer service,poor communication not very helpful,at all offered no help resolving issues. Offered know direction me being a first time home buyer provided documentation however it wasn’t sufficient, I’ve moved on found another mortgage company whom has truly shown the interest and professionalism that has helped me overcome those small challenges.
They were very brief and the loan application process online was simple. I was told they would place me in a program that could help improve my credit score but after I was pre approved I never heard back.
Upon the first call, he reached out to discuss plans about buying a home. I am open to various lenders and wanted to discuss rates for the loan value I am seeking. He dove right into when I would like close on a house and didn’t ask any introductory question about what I am looking into or the experience I have, it was all very robotic and transactional, not warm at all. Halfway through the call you mentioned that you cannot hear me because you are driving, and that you had to be somewhere. Took over a month for them to actually get in touch with me, after I was first notified by Zillow. Then, I got pressured into speeding through the pre-approval process on the phone. Within a day of establishing contact, they start hounding me about submitting documents, which made it feel unprofessional. Or that they were just desperate to crank my file out to get their numbers up.
