I am disappointed in product. Medical alert is too big and heavy. I called Life Assure and told them that I do not want the product and would appreciate a refund. I was told to mail it back and once my tracking # advises me that it was received by them, I can then call and request a refund. The information on Website says you can return to them and I was under the impression from what I read that they would cover the mailing cost to return the unit, by giving me a return merchandise authorization label . We are very disappointed with this company. The initial call was **** ****** ***trying to upsell me without giving me all the details of the devices they send out. They completely mis-spelled names and email address on paper work that accompanied the device. Has to chase the device and was unable to locate it even though it had to be re sent (new device). Sent to my address which was one on file (first one got sent to parent home) not what was requested. Unit wouldn’t hold a charge and couldn’t access the call system. Called... read more

I made the mistake of calling for information. She quoted me a price of $**, after telling her no that I would have to think about it suddenly the price dropped to $**, when I still said no she now dropped the price to $** and said she would send equipment right away so I wouldn't have to worry about falling, trying to pressure me to sign up. I was conducting research on senior medical alert systems in Canada when I came across Life Assure. I called on November 29th, to obtain information on their medical alert products for my 82 year old mother. I spoke with Victoria who persistently pushed me to purchase the pendant product that was on promotion. I told her I was in no RUSH to purchase and was only gathering information at this time. Not impressed. Involved in phone pitch for product. When our phone was complete, I had other questions, attempted to call, several times, number is disconnected. A few days later the package arrived with a contact number. I called, wanted my money back and was told to return the equipment then I might get my money back. It should be noted this company took a payment before I received the equipment , but now they want their equipment back before they might return my money. In mid May 2024 I placed a call to OAS (old age security) to enquire about a new program the government was promoting. During the long wait and terrible music to talk to an agent, someone same on the phone about a free security system for seniors so I listened and in the end agreed to try the unit. I was told there would be shipping charges as well as the cost of the equipment. I was also informed that I could return the product but again face shipping charges. When the package arrived. **** ************** ******** my mom fell with no detection and laid on the floor for 90 minutes… their solution was 1 free month.. big deal… when she passed away I called to cancel the service asking for confirmation they received the hardware and that it was actually cancelled which the representative agreed to… however after not hearing from them after they received the hardware I called only to be told they don’t do that… glad I followed up…***** *** ********* **** ******* ** *******
