NICE AND FRIENDLY STAFF ARE NICE CARING TO RESIDENT'S I'M HAPPY HERE . I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ANYONE HERE
My mom has been a resident here since May 2025! At first she was hesitant , but she quickly made friends. She loves the group field trips they do periodically! (Thrift shopping, going out to restaurants, the in house movie theater days!) She's very grateful for the 3 meals each day! Makes her days so easy, she has more time to enjoy life rather than having to go buy groceries and the time spent cooking them. There are some things that are improving but sometimes the food is not so good or more variety. Need to accommodate better for power outages. The staff has been nice.
Friendly, provides everything the residents need. Great residents, always something, activities planned. Really satisfied and my Aunt that lives there is thriving and has gotten involved with ideas on leading classes, plays, interviews with residents, painting, outings.

What stood out the most is the helpful, thoughtful, welcoming from residents as well as staff. Apartment size was perfect for our needs, location close to previous residence.
The grounds are beautiful, staff are friendly and responsive. There are daily activities and engagement is encouraged. Residents are personable and location is inviting. It feels comfortable and cared for.

My Mom is still in good health and has always been independent and at almost 88 didn't want to live with her children or grown grandchildren. So when I called A Place For Mom and got an almost immediate call back, it was diffnitely a life saver. We took Mom to a couple of places and she choose Lone Star and have been there for a month now and loves it!. She loves interacting and being social with the residents there and the food!
