I signed a contract for installation of a new roof and gave them a deposit check with the understanding per the contract that I had 72 hrs to submit a Notice of Cancellation. I changed my mind less than 24 hrs later and I submitted the notice of cancellation. They still went ahead and cashed my check. Here it is 2 weeks later and many phone calls and they still have not reimbursed my money. Every time I call them they say they are going to cut me the check and mail it out and haven’t as of yet.
High pressure sales tactics used to get me to try to sign up for bathroom shower conversion. Within 6-7 days changed our minds after reading their neg. reviews & was pressured by the salesman that thia was NOT possible. Cancelled the installation anyway after consulting my lawyers.
Spent 3 hours with sales person. We decided to go ahead with the project under the 18 month no interest plan. When I was reviewing the paperwork the next day - it turns out that the monthly payment quoted does not cover the cost of the roofing job - the remaining balances is converted into a 60 month loan at 12% interested (which is back dated to the start of the loan). Both my wife and I sat through this meeting in which this detail was never discussed. Consider that a 60 month financed loan was being offered at 7 to 9 %.
Met with the representative on Friday evening at 6 PM. It took him a couple of hours to go through the “spiel”. He was very nice. However, the quote was extraordinarily high. With him, knowing that we really needed a roof and didn’t have the financial resources to accomplish this amount, he suggested financing. I was interested in getting my bathroom remodeled. Unfortunately, we could not get it done. I put deposit down on the 8th of September of 2023. I have spoken with numerous representatives from the company about the return of my deposit. They refuse to return my deposit as of yet. (September 25, 2023. Can someone assist me?
The product is great. This was the first time I'd dealt with this company. I was impressed with the representative I worked with who came out to my home in a pouring rain storm and took the time to walk through the whole process with me. They were able to schedule within a couple of weeks and were able to offer financing, which is the only way I could have this project done. Then, came installation day. In terms of the actual shingles that were put on my roof, It appears to be ok. However, we had issues with the crew that arrived. They spent over 1/2 ringing our doorbell constantly and then knocking on our door. My kid was home alone and I had told her not to answer the door. Apparently the crew was not sure how much of the roof was being done.They obviously didn't have instructions from the company or supervisor of what they were supposed to be doing. Do not trust this company to complete the install. I have been trying to get my sliding door fixed for months now. Started out they installed my door (1 day of vacation) and broke a piece of the frame. Months later they came out to replace the frame (Day 2 of vacation) and broke a different piece of the door. Months later they came out to install the broken piece (Day 3 of vacation) only to find out that it was built incorrectly and they would have to order a new piece.
