The lodge staff arranged a VE Day celebration which involved a group of actors putting on a show about the 2nd world war. The show lasted nearly an hour and it was truly wonderful to see my mum and other residents singing and waving Union Jack flags to old war time songs. Most of the staff were also dressed in war time costumes. It was joyful to see so many residents enjoying themselves and it’s a credit to the Lodge staff for taking the time to plan and arrange the wonderful entertainment. A big thank you!

Friendly, caring, family orientated home for mother who can no longer cope at home. Nothing is to much trouble and it is making our lives so much easier again.On V.E. day mum said she had had a lovely sing along to Vera Lynn in the morning (with other entertainers) .When we arrived with Daisy and molly Mum was on her way downstairs with other residents to participate in a quizz. The staff at Lostock Lodge are second to none in the level of care provided, kindness, thoughtfulness & quality care. They cannot be thanked enough for the care shown to my parents, when recently mum passed away sadly, to dad & my family, for which we are all extremely grateful. High recommendation for all they do for their residents.

Lostock do a great job at ensuring their residents are happy and safe. The team ensure my Grandma receives the best care, allow us to facetime regularly and take the time she needs to support her on the calls, as it is not something she is able to do herself. The activities and games are top and the regular Facebook updates and pictures have been a great help, especially during covid. To all at Lostock, thank you.

As we are in NZ and cannot be there to visit we love seeing the photos of everyone and especially our Aunty Dot Wilson. She looks so well and oh so happy. You run an amazing place where everyone looks so happy and well looked after. Thank you. Regards Lynne Thomson
