I had a great first experience at Madison Reed, Campbell location. It was my first ever time at any Madison Reed for that matter. Upon walking in, I was greeted and I checked in quickly. I sat down and Johana (sorry for the name misspelling) was my colorist. She did a great job at recommending my balayage color and root color. She was also really friendly and attentive to what I needed as she offered me water and checked on my hair during the time I was waiting to get my hair washed. The experience and end results depends on the colorist you get. Some do a fantastic job while others do a half assed job. Try not to get a tallish Caucasian girl with fake red colored hair (usually tied back in a braid). She is constantly humming or singing but in the creepiest horror movie kind of way. Every person who gets her rolls their eyes in annoyance. To all of the colorists. Stop singing/humming during your work hours. Everyone hates it.

I don't know much about hair treatments, but I know this place is worth every penny. My girlfriend has been looking for a reliable salon for months and came home yesterday absolutely glowing. Her hair looks incredible--super healthy, vibrant, and exactly what she wanted. She praised the staff the entire evening for being professional and not trying to upsell her on random products. As the guy who pays the bills, I highly appreciate the transparent pricing and making her this happy

I went to Madison Reed in Campbell to have an overall color. I asked for blonde. When I got finished, it didn't look like blonde, more like light brown, but I thought maybe it's the lighting. But still, it was not what I asked for. I called, I wrote, saying I didn't get what I asked for and I was told that within two weeks they would do a color correction. With some discussion, they made good on their commitment to my satisfaction and I thank them for doing good work. Sandra

I started going to Madison Reed a few months ago, and I'm really happy with the results. I signed up for the monthly membership, which is a great deal since you can go as often as you want. I usually go once or twice a month, and for the price, it really can't be beat. Before coming here, I was coloring my hair at home, and it always turned out a dark, flat brown that wasn't my true color. I have been a member for more than 2 years At the Campbell location. The method and the flexibility to make appointments is great. There are some great great colorists and some that wash hair who are good. at the same time there are some who are not so good colorist or not so good team members who are not skilled at washing hair, they can be harsh and slow. there is bug discrepancies in skill levels.
