I'm honestly surprised by the 3-star rating. I've visited this salon a few times now to touch up my roots, and 2 out of 3 visits have been fantastic! The team here is talented and attentive. In particular, there are two ladies--one stylist and one who handles hair washing--who consistently do a phenomenal job. I have to give special recognition to Amber, who washed my hair. Good- this place is fantastic for anyone who has low maintenance hair, easy breezy! Scheduling is easy. The staff is friendly, welcoming and professional. The place is extremely clean and well organized. If you want your hair colored without a lot of drama, Madison Reed is a great concept. Brilliant. I come here almost every month to get my hair dyed through a subscription program where I pay a flat fee to cover my roots and go in as many times as I want during the subscription period. There are lots of locations and you can go to anyone by just scheduling on-line. Scheduling is relatively easy and they are always on time and get you out in about 90 minutes. this place is absolutely wonderful. I do their monthly pass and come in every two weeks for a root, touchup the products and look amazing. There's no bad odor. The salon is very spacious and very beautifully decorated. The staff is very friendly and very professional. They do the most amazing hair washes and played the best music. It's always a great experience when I spend my two hours with these girls every two weeks.

I am not sure why there are poor ratings, I always have a great experience every single time, the booking feature online is super easy, every hair consultant I have ever interacted with is top notch, knowledgeable, special shout out to I think her name is Erica! I love the convenience of this membership! $80 dollars monthly for unlimited root touchups! I've also tried the gloss and love the way my hair shines!

I highly recommend creating an account (to get coupon codes for discounts and promos) and schedule appointment online. There's no direct line that you can contact to speak to an associate. They provide basic services for hair color such as roots, all over color, highlights, gloss, blowout etc. This is not your typical hair salon, services are pretty straight forward. I love this salon service. I had been using Madison Reed Hair Color at home since early in 2016, but when the Color Bar opened it was a game changer. This is a convenient location and the salon is clean and very organized. The service is efficient, always on time, and I so appreciate how quickly my hair service is complete. My color is always as I expect.
