First of all this review is only based on the customer service NOT the product!! I usually place my orders using the App and just come pick it up and leave but for some reason my phone has been acting up that I wasn't able to place my order with the app and I came into the store, I waited about 5 min then an associate (with Red Hair) came to assist me she asked if I was here to pick up an order and I told her no that my phone wasn't letting me place my order than what she told me next is what has me putting this 1 star YELP... read more

Very weird! First they have no mirrors... that's weird! Second, the girl doing my hair insisted on a lighter color and when I asked her to mix 2 shades so we can get the right color she sort of got annoyed... but that's their job!!! Third, I asked if they did eyebrows! They do not so i asked if I can have some of the left over and take it home so i can do it myself and she said they throw it away... WHAT???? I am done with Madison Reed. They have been late for every appt and today was no exception. I stood at the front desk for 12 mins w no acknowledgment and a customer sitting near the front desk chimed in she had been waiting for 20 mins. W no acknowledgment. I said I could not be late today so said I had to leave. I had to get a dog sitter and waste gas. This shop is very unorganized. Manager is not doing her job. I was once there for an appointment and they did not have my color. The other day a lady walked in with an appointment. Well, they didn't have her color. She was very upset, and manager just watching from afar letting the technician take the angry customer. doors always open late. AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE + I now know there's a class action against this place alleging it makes your hair fall out! I had the worst experience at this location. The greeter woman named Page was completely rude from the moment I walked in. I wanted to add some highlights and the colorist (who was actually very lovely and pleasant and friendly) was willing to do it, but the woman Page immediately said no, they were too busy (they weren't). I have gone here for awhile and absolutely loved it. However my experience yesterday was not that way. I had to wait 20 minutes for my appointment and things were very messy. I had my hair rinsed out with freezing cold water and was told the later it gets they lose the hot water. My appointment was at 3:30? The salon was under staffed and the ladies were trying their best to keep up. In the last year, this salon has gone downhill, both in management and in color application quality. Every time I come in, there is a new employee doing my hair, they have high turnover and can't seem to keep anyone. Management seems to be cold and only cares about making money, what happened to customer service? The color quality is awful, always turns red and fades after two days, no wonder they advertise their membership for people who need their hair done weekly! Because it fades so fast. I've been coming here for over a year and I always make sure to request Sherry! She does such a wonderful job and seems to always understand what my hair needs. I have fine, delicate, and frizzy hair and I always leave with my hair feeling fresh, smooth, and healthy. I love the simplicity and cost effectiveness of getting roots and gloss done here, and love having Sherry do my hair, but am always surprised and disappointed with the management. Love my hair, but really poor customer service. I got the unlimited roots special, but its anything but convenient. This is the fourth time I have had trouble with my appointments. I cancelled an appointment last night on the website because I am SICK. Now I get a text message to confirm my appointment, which I cancelled again.
