Lauren my colorist did a great job, but she was also in charge of the front desk washing the floor and cleaning up the salon,which was very difficult for her and as a client not the best experience. I had to wait to check out Because she was told by her boss to time her work and couldn't break to check me out that's the silliest thing I ever heard? I had been looking forward to trying his Madison Reed business. When I arrived for a 430 appointment I was asked to come back in 40 minutes which I did. I wish that I received a call saying things were running late. The delay was because their was only one colorist in that day; the other simply failed to show up. While the colorist was nice, she left me hanging in the back in need of the rinse for a long time to the point where I was freezing and kept waiting. First impressions of this place is that the decor is simple and welcoming. I reached here on time and Jamal my hair dresser introduced himself and had me seated. I wanted to choose a different color(5) for 'all over color' from the last time(4) and we were discussing colors for a while. I was wearing glasses and he gave me 'sleeves' for my glasses so the color doesn't go on it. Jamal was friendly and did introduce me to some products to use for upkeep at home. Clean and hair super soft. It took quite some time to get through my consultation. While my hairdresser was really nice, I felt very much rushed when the hair treatment was being applied. I do love that they offered a free hair promotion for elite users. My hair was incredibly soft from the gloss for 2 weeks or so... but not very long. They got hair product dye on my lululemon though and I haven't been able to wash it off since :(

The service was prompt and professional, and I liked how my color looked leaving the salon. Unfortunately the dye they use is low quality and has completed faded to my natural color in 6 weeks (I wash my hair 2x a week). I haven't had this issue with other salon colors, and for that reason I will not be returning. The stylist who did my hair was kind and friendly, and I appreciate his effort to make conversation, but he was a bit intrusive. Having someone do my color for me was a treat, for sure! And the color lasts longer than when I use my Madison Reed home kits. However, beware - they used "extra" product on my hair and charged me for it after the fact. And when I attempted to exchange a kit for the new color they recommended (which I love), they wouldn't exchange a kit that was more than 30 days old and told me, "That's retail, hon." A must visit for color and hair touch ups! Customer service: Nam welcomed me as soon as I stepped in, and was my hair stylist. He helped me pick out a color based on what I wanted ( a darker shade due to my roots coming out harshly with blonde bleached hair at the bottom). I would give this place 3.5 stars, I really wanted to love it but I would say the customer service brought it to a 3 instead of 4. Coming in, i checked in and got seated. Nam was the person who colored my hair and it was my first time. He took the time to talk to me and answer any questions and gave me suggestions since my hair color is really dark and natural.
