Maggie McFly's in Glastonbury was extremely disappointing. My husband and I went there for lunch. The young boy who brought us to our table gave us dinner menus at lunch time. I asked our waitress for the lunch menu. The food was horrible. I ordered the Pilgrim which had a very small amount of sliced turkey and was loaded with stuffing - mostly onions and bread and cranberry sauce... Scrimp scampi was soggy and inedible. Received no utensils with order even though it was requested as well as no salad dressing with salad. My first experience dining here and it was a waste of my money

I just came from Maggie Mcfly's in Manchester CT and when I say the service was so disappointing. The greater met us and we were seated and noone came to service us for a while. We did not have a menu nor a Barcode to scan for one. Me and my mom watched as the wait staff serviced other tables. Even after my Mom went and returned no one came. The hostess came out and said the waiter did not notice you were sitting here and so they will be right out. I come here all the time and usually I love it however tonight was a totally different story. I have a shellfish allergy and order the seafood paella with no shrimp and advised the server of my allergy. Our server Sharon ordered the wrong item and instead I received something that also contained lobster. I advised her the menu does not even say that lobster is in this item and she brought it back to the kitchen. 10 minutes later a manager came over questioning my choice saying it was not possible to do without lobster. Maggie's used to be a decent place. I don't know if the quality has gone to hell because of COVID, or if everyone just stopped giving a damn, but went there with my wife and kids last week, and it was terrible. From day old rice in my wife's poke bowl to my daughter's cold and undercooked ribs (nasty tough) everything we ordered was a miss. Couple that with once-every-20-minutes waitress service, and you've got the reason why we won't be back to Maggie McFly's for a very long time.

I used to really enjoy this place. It was the very last restaurant my husband and I went to prior to the Covid-19 shut down in 2020. We had noticed an overall decline across the board, but they were always busy, so maybe it was us? This weekend ( 3/2021 ) was the first time we ventured back in over a year. I was very disappointed. It was dirty!! The surfaces were sticky, floor was slippery but dull in appearance, the windows are filmy. They've really let this place go. Horrible!!! My husband and I went there for dinner after church...mistake!!! I had the baby back ribs, brussel sprouts, and sweet potato fries. The ribs were hard and dry. Look like someone slabbed barbecue sauce on them to cover up the mess. The brussel sprouts were hard and under cooked and bitter. I was only able to eat the fries. My husband had the jambalaya which is normally good. Not today. Today there were huge chunks of hard onions In it and the rice was hard. So disappointed and a waste of money.
