We went to Maggie McFly's because we wanted to get corned beef and cabbage on St Patrick's day. They had a special menu today and we were in the area. It was the worst corned beef I have ever had. It was so tough that I could not cut it or chew it. The meat, potatoes and cabbage had no flavor at all. The Irish soda bread had a good flavor but they literally gave me a couple of scraps of bread. Save your money. Go elsewhere. We were super excited to try this place out. We were hoping to make it a date night place after going to the movies. That won't be happening. Got her around 8pm & sat at the bar. Maybe two people sitting... took about 10 minutes for bartender to even see us. She brings two waters over... both have something floating in it. It is a lovely restaurant. If you are looking for upbeat, lively atmosphere, this is your spot. If you are in the mood for good food, it is low - mid at best. The best thing was the wine, I had a 9 oz glass of Angeline. My sister had to send her mashed potatoes back, they were cold. My neice asked for no tomato, the burger came with tomato. A friend had a birthday dinner here. She wasn't fully ready yet so half of the party went into get the table we were told it would be a 40 minute wait on the table. So the 3 of us went into the mall for the wait time. When going back into the restaurant 30 minutes later we were told a new wait time of an hour. I asked the women at the front why we were told to wait again. Arrived at this location and I was seated immediately. Their atmosphere wasn't too crowded. Service was decent. When I received my meal which looked delicious...... it had a hair in it. I asked for the manager to come over, which she did. Her name was Christine and she seemed very unbothered with what I had experienced, she stated "Humans Shed." Unfortunately I'd never return. We arrived and had a party of 11, so we had a 30 min wait. We had to wait for our waitress Crystal to come in for her shift. When we sat down she wasn't informed by the bartender we had already gotten drinks and paid at the bar, so there was immediate confusion. We ordered appetizers, specifically fried pickles & potato skins. The pickles were smothered in cilantro and really thin, basically all breading. I have gone 3 times in the last 2 months and these were my issues: Visit 1: ordered 2 desserts to go. The brownie sundae and the dirt cup. The sundae was only a brownie. Missing toppings, no whipped cream, no sauce, no ice cream. Just a brownie. The dirt cup was just chocolate pudding. Missing the toppings, mix in and the whipped cream. I would give 0 stars if I could. We waited over 5 minutes at the front and were about to leave when someone finally walked out to seat us. She was unhappy, didn't give us enough menus or a high chair when we asked. So my husband just went and got what we needed himself. We waited a while for a waitress.
