Dishonest, Shady, and Overpriced – Buyer Beware I’ve been servicing my vehicle at McKinney Buick GMC since 2021, but ever since my prepaid service contract ended, things have gone downhill fast. Stay away from this dealership. I never leave bad reviews publicly, but this experience was a nightmare. First, Patrick in financing flat out lied to us that all of the warranties are refundable. The Exterior Care Warranty was NOT refundable. We verbally verified with Patrick several times that all of the warranties were refundable and he assured us they all were. That was a lie. When we tried to reach out to the dealership to remedy this, they said "It's not refundable" and did nothing to rectify Patrick's lie. I see in oth... read more

We purchased a used vehicle on 4/4/25. We were told if went through a rigorous inspection process and reconditioning. Less than two weeks of ownership, we discovered major issues with the motor mounts and the control arms that hold the engine in place. We also found rust on the spark plugs and on the battery terminals. Dylan Christian the manager told us that is what we should expect from an older used car. First time to dealership. Brought it in for service, recall items and to diagnose the infotainment system that had quit working. I dropped off on a Wednesday and left messages checking on status Thursday evening, Friday morning and Friday evening to which no one replied. I finally got a call back on Saturday letting me know it was done. I pick it up and the infotainment (radio, nav, seat controls etc) was not even looked at much less fixed. I made an appointment at 1:00 for an oil change and to check my cars fluids. my car was finally taken back at 2 o’clock. I waited another 45 minutes and was told it was going for the car wash and should be ready soon. I waited another 30 minutes and went to ask why it was taking so long for the wash. Their employee finally went back to check on it. Finally at 3:15 my car was brought out. I will not be taking it back to them. Thank goodness I didn’t have anywhere else to be.

I am absolutely furious with the terrible service I received at McKinney GMC last week. While my salesperson, Mario Fernandez, was very helpful, patient, and worked hard to secure a great deal for me, everything went downhill once I stepped into the finance office. The issues started with the finance person, Patrick Varrassi, and just kept getting worse from there. Patrick flat-out lied to me about a protection plan he added to my purchase. This Dealership knowingly release my daughter truck to her, knowing it had no brakes. Didn’t care for her wellbeing, didn’t even tell her, her vehicle had no brakes. Just gave her the keys and said nothing. She almost ran into another vehicle and had to use her emergency brake to stop. What’s perplexed is she drove her truck to the dealership for a evap diagnostic. And miraculously, her brakes locked up. Instead of fixing their mistake, they want to charge her to fix it. Purchasing the vehicle went great. What didn’t go well is being told and promised 3 years of OnStar then after closing the deal being told that we wouldn’t. I won’t do future business with a dealership that’s dishonest and wouldn’t recommend McKinney Buick GMC to anyone.
