Terrible experience. I drove 2 hours and was told the price was more than than the internet price then they gave me the internet price then turned around and charged me 3000.00 for a “recouping” which I was not told about. Then went to finance and they said it was my lucky day I was getting coupons for a warranty and free oil changes for 3 years. I had a terrible experience trying to buy a vehicle. First, the sales person I was working with didn’t return my messages. Second, since I was not getting a returned calls, I called the internet manager. Terrible experience. All I asked was for them to honor the internet price. I had to push him to get there. Extremely poor communication. My car is at their shop and I can't get anyone to tell me when the parts will be in. After 2 emails and a phone call on (8/2/24) to the dealership. I received the initial email stating the middle of this week for possible parts delivery. Have emailed 3 times this week. Twice to the service person associated with the repair order. Bate and switch. Pictures in THEIR own website for a truck (pictures attached). We have check in hand to pay Then. The sales manager starts going over the paper woke and it’s $20k more than the advertised price. Not to mention. I called 2 times to speak to someone if the truck was there and confirmed the price. If I could leave zero stars, I would! !!! I normally don't use this dealership for my oil change, but my normal dealership was booked up and this sister dealership was available. All I needed was an oil change and an alignment since I had purchased new tires on my car. Be very cautious of doing business with this dealership. They had a used truck listed at $32,500 but then added $2295 to the price when negotiating a deal, calling it “dealer added accessories”. I was sent a list of the so called added accessories and the total added up to $1790. When I questioned the difference in $2295 vs $1790, I was told that they just charge a flat fee, regardless of actual price.
Poor communication. . Caleb in service- no professional, didn’t return calls after getting his hair cut. Told him we had the code for the recall and he never to the service department. Had our car towed there stuck in park and only 25,000 miles . The whole experience was unpleasant. Service manager tried to explain phone system is old , etc.. poor service all the way around. We will use another GMC dealer next time we have a recall or need our car serviced.
Three years ago I bought a brand new 2021 GMC Acadia from McKinney Buick GMC. I absolutely love the truck, but as sometimes happens, it had developed a rattle in the headliner. I have tried to get it fixed by them numerous times since, and it is still not fixed. Since the repairs would take a minimum of two or three days to complete, the advisors have promised loaner cars, but because of the scarcity of available cars they had, coordination efforts have been drawn out and with some struggle. Horrible customer service in service dept. First off they never answer phone. Rings 12 times then goes to front desk who forwards back to service and your stuck in that loop till someone who finally answers and has to find a rep who is always with someone. Every call takes min 15 mins. Took truck in for power running board issue. I had to remove myself because it was stuck out and against my tire.
