While initially I was impressed by the quick response from the pre-owned sales team and a text message from my salesman who specifically highlighted that the dealership charges no extra fees nor has any add-on costs (I specifically asked and he responded promptly), I was also told that the dealership is eager to sell, so all reasonable offers will be considered. I waited 2 hours and 20 minutes for an oil change in spite of having an appointment. The cost of my $69.95 oil change became $85.75 with additional fees including now a 3% fee for credit card payments.

Sales people not willing to negotiate so I would never bother buying a vehicle from them. However, their service department is decent. The downside is the prices don’t include the labor cost. They also add xx fees like shop fees. There is something strange about the way they calculate sales tax as well. Overall, I like their service department.

My 2016 Yukon received a GMC recall for a defective taillight in 2019 or 2020. Unknown to me the recall for this defect had a 72,000 mile limit for the dealer to replace with no charge. However, I drive approximately 27,000 miles a year therefore my vehicle was already passed the mileage limit when I received the recall notice and I had to pay for the replacement Three years later the same light had the same problem and had to replace the light AGAIN because the DEFECTIVE replacement had only a two year warranty. Was told had trucks that fit my need. When I came next day said they were sold and computers not updated . Ending up buying one. Came next day to pay , and would not take a cashier check. Was not told that , only no credit card. Cashier check is better than a personal check. Did not make any sense and caused more hassles .

The 1 star rating is for the service department. I’ve been trying to get my Hummer EV serviced, the customer service is terrible. Brandi was not helpful and a little condescending. I will take my car to Ewing from now on.

I bought my new Acadia Denali from this dealership in 2021. Then and since, a very cusotmer oriented staff, no complaints until today. My complaint is with your corporate owner, the massive congolomerate, Berkshire Hathaway. I had my vehicle there for service and when checking out I was informed to use a credit card there is a 3% FEE on the amount charged. The actual service was ok, but someone used my car as a place to chill out, putting down the driver armrest (which I never use), setting the temperature to the lowest setting, and burning up oodles of fuel. On top of that, they left dirt on the floor of the car, which I had to clean up. I definitely prefer going to Ewing Buick GMC to have my car serviced, but it's much further for me.
